A BRONZE LION IN THE SPORT ENTERTAINMENT CATEGORY FOR « HEROES OF TODAY IV »

Our talented BRBR secured a Bronze Lion at the prestigious Cannes Lions festival in the Sport Entertainment category. This award recognizes their latest short film, "Heroes of Today IV," produced by Birth. 

This production marks the fourth installment in the "Heroes of Today" series—a captivating collection of short films that boldly confront taboo subjects in the world of sports while shedding light on crucial social issues. 

After exploring racism, homophobia, and sexual abuse in the first three installments, « Heroes of Today IV » focuses on the discrimination faced by pregnant women in the world of sports.

This fourth installment titled « Mother » is a moving and provocative cinematic work that showcases the directors’ always-accurate perspective, their ability to hold a raw narrative, and an evident talent for bringing up the lows of our societies. In just 3 minutes and 31 seconds, BRBR tells the story of a pregnant athlete who faces discrimination from her professional surroundings. This injustice has a deep emotional impact on her preparation, daily life, sporting career, and her life is completely upended as a result.
